Well classes have officially started for me at Liberty University. I am currently working on my Ed.S., which is half the requirements for my Ed.D. I enjoy learning about education and the process of learning. The benefit of attending Liberty University Online is that it is portable. I moved to here in December 2014. I will be moving again in January 2016.
At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of work required, homeschooling, the boy’s martial arts, speech therapy for my son, and working on a house. Now that I have found my groove, I am able to get more work done in the required time. I look forward to sharing more with you at a later time.
So the biggest excitement around here has been new belts in martial arts for my boys and my nephews and my daughter broke her arm while at a friends house. She said, “Too bad it wasn’t my right arm! Then I wouldn’t have to do homework.” When I was in 6th grade I broke my left clavicle. I remember saying the same thing! Yes, she’s my girl!
I will not release the information about my nephews but I will say they skipped a belt in martial arts! My oldest, Mighty Man, skipped a belt. He is now a Yellow-Green Belt. My youngest, Rhino-Monkey, is now a Yellow Belt. I will right a post soon about the benefits of martial arts for children.
Well, my coffee is getting cold and I have more work that must be finished today.
