I took a little break from writing for two days. Sunday was the rest day for Insanity Max:30 and church for us. Unfortunately, Princess woke up with a headache and we had to miss church. Sunday was spent resting, watching all 4 Pirates of the Caribbean with my boys (Hey now, we have to freshen up for the release of the new one this weekend), Princess spent the day watching her movies and talking with her friends, and folding laundry. Mount Washmore is always stacking up around here. It was a nice day with my kiddos.
Yesterday, I did Cardio Challenge and Ab Max. I maxed out at 27:52 on the Cardio Challenge. I made it through Ab Max while taking breaks often for water because I did the workouts back to back. We also had plans to go hiking with some homeschooling friends from our Classical Conversations group. Our short hike involved a lot of stairs I was exhausted by the time we got home. We came home ate a light supper, showered, and went to bed to lay down and rest. Everyone slept until 9:30-10:00. (Another benefit of homeschooling-rest as much as needed and still able to get the work done.)
This morning was Tabata Power. Oh dear Lord! My legs felt like jello, especially after the hike yesterday. I had to quit at 24:08 for water and I totally MAXED OUT at 27:30. It was a hard workout but I survived…I think. I have one week and one day until DH comes home and I’m hoping to reach my stage 1 goal weight by then. Wish me luck!
I did not maintain the juice fast yesterday. It would have taken too much out of me to do so. I ate a small salad with 1oz. grilled chicken. Over the weekend, I ate only veggies, juice, and a homemade gluten free peanut butter cookie. I was missing my Granny’s cookies. Saturday was her birthday. She is 73 years young and still going strong!
